Twitter, to me, is just a platform that allows you to talk to people you already know. No, I’m not a big fan of this. I think Twitter is great for getting your thoughts out there, but I also think it’s pretty useless. The best Twitter sites like Twitter.com, Twitter Chat, and Twitter Chat are too clunky and slow to use.
I think the main problem with Twitter is that it needs an awful lot of “likes” to really get your twitter up and running. If people have no idea you exist, they won’t know how to reach out to you. In my experience, people don’t really like to use twitter to do stuff that requires interaction with people they don’t know.
I actually agree with you. Twitter doesn’t really work for sharing information, but I do agree that it would be nice if it did.
