Nowadays, the internet and search engines are full of sites that promise to make you money but are not that. Instead of spending money and time on web writing, these sites will spend it on paid media ads. I know this because I have seen sites like Search Engine Land, Yahoo! Search and Bing that are making money by selling banner ads, paid search, and sponsored content.

The problem with paid media ads is that they are completely worthless. They just display a banner ad without really doing anything unique or different. While they might make you look busy and useful, they are just a glorified banner ad that doesn’t really help you do anything. Search Engine Land and Yahoo Search make money by getting search results from other websites. In the case of Search Engine Land, they use sponsored links. In the case of Yahoo Search, they use keywords in their searches.

Paid media advertising is just a glorified banner ad with a bunch of links, but Yahoo Search is much more effective because it uses their own unique algorithms to find the keywords that people are looking for. It’s very similar to Google Adwords for websites.
